ok kind of a cop out post, the base of these cookies is the same as the last chocolate chip cookies i posted with the addition of caramel. so i guess this would be better named as only a caramel recipe. but here we are.
ingredients:
- sugar
- all other necessary ingredients as found on other cookie recipe
steps:
- place 1 cup of white sugar in pan
- heat on medium (? i think) and wait for it to melt, occasionally stirring
- melt until it becomes a medium/amber brown colour
- pour immediately onto silicone baking sheet
- let cool
- break up using knife in questionable manner
- mix into cookie dough
- ***almost side note, but would be good to sprinkle sea salt onto top of sugar to mix it up a lil bit
