for cookie part
- 210 g butter softened
- 150 g white sugar
- 50 g brown sugar
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon pink salt because thats what we’re currently working with and piggly wiggly is now closed (rip) so i can’t get normal salt
- 343 g all-purpose flour
- ½-⅔ cup fresh strawberries, diced into smol pieces
for filling
- 170 g cream cheese
- 30 g powdered sugar
steps
- make cookie dough as usual
- put strawberries in flour mixture before adding to butter so they’re not as wet from the start
- for cream cheese filling, use two spoons and make teaspoon-ish balls and fully freeze
- chill dough and make into balls – push frozen cream cheese into center of dough
- will be sticky but don’t add more flour, because we don’t need dry ass cookies
- put back into the fridge so they’re chilled again while oven is pre-heating to 350 degrees
- bake for 15ish minutes
